1 st Anniversary for my car

I picked up my car On October 31, 2012, having ordered it in May and build on September 27th of that year.

I have just performed service A at 8350 miles. I am happy to report that I have not had ANY issues with this car.

Since purchasing the car, I have added folding rear view mirrors, safety triangle, driver seat mounted fire extinguisher, and carbon fiber interior trim pieces....all OEM Mercedes Benz. I have also installed clear front markers, x-pipe, and quad exhaust tips with stock AMG diffuser.

For track racing guys. I think some places require the car to be equipped with one for safety.

Steve Krabbenborg at MBenznl.com

email him at mbenznl@gmail.com

either Steve or Wanda will give you information and price. They get OEM parts from MB and they are in The Netherlands

It really doesn't matter on how old I am. The fire extinguisher comes on the C-Class in a number of countries located beyond the United States. MB chooses not to install or offer many items that are standard in other markets in order to keep the car at certain price-points.

Lol.. people who are in this thread are really stupid and mentally retarded. Since when having a fire extinguisher become for young and small children? It is one of the safety procedures that everyone is responsible to follow and have in his/her car. Being aware of the dangerous consequences doesn't mean we are children. Please if you don't even have you should at least consider it. Sometimes people lives depends on these.

The total cost for the carbon fiber trim was a little over $2300 purchased through an online trade motion dealer. To remove the ash tray cover, you put a plastic wedge towards the forward part of the console and add a little pressure. It comes off pretty easy, the cover slides over two posts on the ash tray. You will see what I mean when you remove the cover.

It is the C63 Carbon Fiber trim option, all true MB parts. I had to use a C63 VIN in order to place the parts order with the dealer.
