Hi everybody, since a long time without posting, I want to show you the new family member...I sold my old C180 coupe, great car, that I hold for 4 years...
Now the Hanson vendor girl from my local reseller, convince me once again...
I try Porsche Macan and Cayman...but the interior and the refinement in rolling, didn't convince me completely, Macan was very good, but also more pricey...
So I end with a brand new C 300 coupe in Selenite Gray...I've just have it since yesterday, but so far is a amazing car...a lot of engine upgrade from the C180 and the new interior is also miles away...
As I've mentioned in another thread I'm gearing up to buy a new C205 C63S coupe after the mid life upgrades but I will also keep my C204 C250 CDI it's just too good to give up - the C204 250D for daily duties and the C205 C63 for weekends
AV1 the C63S isn't arrived yet to Chile, and the price, for now, it's really impossible to reach to me (U$ 115.000) and after try the C204 AMG C63 black series, is not that comfortable for a daily driver...but for the weekends...

I hear you on pricing, only in the U.S is everything so cheap...and still they whinge and complain LOL spare a thought for some Countries like Singapore where a C63 can cost well over $200k USD !!!
Here in Australia it will cost almost $180k AUD that's around $130k USD at the current exchange rate, but not so long ago the Australian dollar was on par with the U.S so imagine almost $180k USD for a C63 if our dollar strengthens again
My C250-CDI is fully loaded and cost me more than a C204 C63 cost in the U.S at the same time of purchase in 2012.
The new 205 series C63's are way more comfortable and liveable for everyday driving compared with the previous 204 series C63's, it really is Worlds apart and stepped up big time in every way compared to the 204 C63's I spend most of my time these days over at the AMG forum boards and there's plenty of reviews and personal experience info on that topic if you want to check it out, so for someone wanting it as a daily driver it would be totally ok and much much better than the previous model
We too will not receive the new C205 C63 until later this year (the sedan has been here a while now) and we will only get the the top of the range C63S version which will also be pretty much fully optioned as standard
I'm in no hurry and waiting for later production batch of post mid life upgraded versions, there are a lot of changes and upgrades coming for the 205 series and tail end models of any series are always the pick of the bunch, I don't want to upgrade regularly and keep my cars long term so wait until the best release of something I like

our local dealer has a couple new coupes with the smaller 17" wheels and it looks kinda boring in person. a 19' or 20' staggered wheel package would really set the lines of the car of in my opinion.
OT ~ I guess I need to update my signature photo (for it's still my old c coupe). Here's a pic of the c replacement ('15 E400 coupe)... same wheels transferred (staggered 19's) both lowered. Cheers!
Just came back from test driving a new C220d coupe with AMG body styling and 9 speed auto. I must say that I wasn't convinced enough that it is a big step forward on what I already have and probably would look somewhere else for an upgrade or wait for GLC coupe
My really beautifully designed little coupe has averaged over 27 since purchase...
But a diesel...................even un hombre clueless could - mostly likely - break the 40 MPG barrier...........

Yes was a diesel. I have arranged for C300 test drive but waiting for his call. the car for sure looks more masculine than C204 specially at the front but having driven them back to back I wasn't convinced that it is the upgrade I am looking for. C300 could change that
