Side market light options.

just looking for opinions.
White 2012 c250
looking to do my first mod and replace the side markers since one of the bulbs is out anyway.

I was was looking at the smoked vs clear vs led vs regular bulb. Also at white or yellow.

What at do you guys think looks the best on the white car?

Im also going to be upgrading the halogens to either HID or LED. I miss having the HID’s like my last car. I don’t have the projector lenses so I know you guys must have preferred venders etc.... any help is greatly appreciated.

Clear markers with white LEDs. And HIDs over LEDs for low beams in those housing for better results

An HID conversion kit using your existing housing. Fairly easy DIY. Functionally plug and play. We carry top end Morimoto H7 conversion kits if interested. We also have 194 wedew leds for your markers. All of our products are canbus enabled so error free.

Ideally yes to help focus the beam and we have projector retrofit kits available. However with the c204 reflector design don't really have a huge glare problem. You won't have a crisp cutoff, but not the huge glare issue you see in older reflectors either.

it doesn’t have projectors in it at all. Just a regular halogen headlight housing

Yeah, never said it had projectors, but you can do a projector retrofit. This is the kit that most go with.
Morimoto Mini Stage3 Projector Retrofit Kit

A retrofit project is more involved and I wouldn't classify as an entry level DIY project. You have to bake open your housing to be able to screw in the projectors. I'd recommend getting a shop to do it for you. An HID conversion though is a DIY project as you're just plugging everything into existing housing/wiring.
