Anybody ever mount a bike rack to a C coupe either trunk mounted or added the roof rack ? Any suggestions ?

 

I have the MB roof rack and bike rack. BTW, both made by Thule

 

I have a Saris Bones 2. It works great and carries my bike where ever I need it to.

 

I have the SeaSucker Talon. Best option for cars like this. Uses suction cups and each cup has 200 lb ft of suction force. That bike isn't gonna come off the roof.

I ended up going with a cheap trunk mount rack that I picked up for 45$. I felt bad spending more then the bike is worth on a rack. So far so good but if I have problems with it or the police because my license is sort of blocked I may have to look at the suction cup roof rack. Thanks for all the suggestions!

 

The rack looks great. I doubt you will have trouble with the license plate being blocked. I've had mine for years and never had any police stop me because of it.

 

for the bike rack on the trunk, how did you get around the auto-closing trunk?

 

There is no auto close on my car it's a 2013. Only way the trunk opens or closes is with arm power .
