Hi!!
what do you guys think of 2017 c300 coupe? If anyone have owned it can you please share your opinion of the car? how much should they go for (<40k miles…FYI I’m from US)? Is it better to wait for the market to cool down? Any reliability issues?

great cars! I've had a 2017 c300 coupe 4matic since 2020, 42,000 miles. Currently in 2025 at 76,000 miles and with no issues. I drive it regularly and in sport or sport + mode all the time. Just keep up with Maintenace, oil change etc. If you are somewhat good with your hands and have some automobile knowledge you will be able to work on these cars easily. I have turned my base model into a c43, c63 body style and will be working on performance mods soon. I get lots of compliments on the cars look. Stock 241hp is good but not great. I wish they came above 300hp. My goal for performance modding is to get it just above 300hp in the near future with downpipes, intake, tune, etc. I just don't want to trade performance for reliability since this car has been rock solid

The previous generation like the W204 had C 350 which was 305? ish horsepower.

Yes, exactly. Wish i had gotten a 450 or 43 but the c300 was something i inherited. I plan on upgrading in the future to at least a c43. Right now, on my c300 I have an MST air intake installed, weistec BOV and a carbon fiber air tube. I just got an FTP charge pipe, and plan on installing that soon. I also plan on grabbing a downpipe and tune soon. Once i tune the car i will post the results. The tuner i used told me i could get 50+ Hp 70+ Nm with a stage 1 tune which would put the car at around or just above 300 hp which is sort of my goal here.
