Exclamation Fuel/Start up/ Check
Hello, I am new here.



My 2020 c300 have such problem: after refilling fuel it has problem with start up, about 6-7 seconds and after start check engine comes out, misfire, transmission does not work. These problems occur only when filling the fuel ( car is off). Also, After that there is "Gas Cap Loose" Problem too.

Did you try changing the fuel cap first? Did you use "Top Tier" certified fuel?

Yes, I have changed fuel cap and I use "Top Tier" certified fuel. What surprises me is that these problems occur only when I add fuel and start the car.

Time to scan vehicle for codes.

Combustion misfiring of cylinder 4 and 1 has been detected.

A fine leak in the evaporative emission control system was detected .

Misfire.... And leak hmmm is it part of the fuel hose recall? Forgot the details but there was a recall for something fuel system related on the W205.

Thank you all.

I have tested evap purge valve and it was fault. Changed it and everything is OK.
