Where is the fiber optic cable?

Where is the fiber optic cable?
I just picked up a cd changer for my C230K sedan and found only 1 skinny cable which I beleive is the power for the changer...where is the fiber optic one hidden? Im looking at the passenger side of the trunk
with the carpet panel off.

The fiber optic cable is orange colored cable behind the radio unit. If yours is 2005 and newer, It might already come "pre-cabled". If not MBZ dealers have them for sale less than $40.00

Given my inexperience first-hand, I can only suggest similar placement to 1999
E320 USA, ergo, driver side, and aft of the rear wheel. Bundled with wiring
harness. Look for bright orange twin lead with postage size terminator.
But if you indeed found a power lead for appliance in right rear, maybe you
should look carefully again before moving to the other side. The small twin
lead for power should have male plug approx 3/8" x 1/4" x 1/8". It should
fit the smaller, female socket shown here.
Am thinking your changer should be MC3010 or MC3198.

Was at work today and decided at lunch to look again for it...it basically fell in my hand!! So glad I found it and yes its an orange wire with a rectangular end with a green cover on it. I will try plugging it all in when I get home but I called the dealer and they want $170 for the bracket!!! Thats insane....Im gonna try to get a generic bracket.
