Who has a high mileage M111?
I have an M111 engine in a 2002 C230k Coupe. My current mileage is at
125k.
Who has another high mileage M111 engine? I'm wondering what kind of lifespan to predict for my car.
Of course this considers regular oil changes, etc.

I have a 99 C230K with 128K I am looking at 300K out of it.

My 94 C220 had 163k when first gear gave out. Sold her to someone who was going to work on it as a project car and get it going again. Otherwise, engine was solid. No leaks or burning of oil, just strong.

Okay, because I just came from the junkyard and there was maybe two or three Kompressor's there and I was thinking about pulling a "spare" and just having that rebuilt/ported/polished but I have no idea what they would have charged me and its like 110 degrees here so I'll save it for another day.

Km in M111 engine
My M111 has 296000km and runs like a new engine. I change oil every 10000km and used Castrol edge 10w/40. But now I change to Motul 300V Competition 1å0w/40 because I know Motul is the best you can get. I used it in.my motorcycle for 20 years now,and it have 209000km and Compression is almost like new and camshaft looks new.So now I want to try it on my call 230k and see if its good.But it must be changed at 8000km since it is a racing oil, and not a long-term oil. So with your 125,000 the engine is not broken in yet. But change the oil at 10,000km and Castrol or Mobil 1 if you don't want to pay for an expensive racing oil.
