You tell people its a 2008? They must be blind or something. The W202 has got to be one of the most dated looking cars I have ever seen. Awfull interior I must add. As far as them being around. There a dime a dozen considering the price of them. 2000 C Classes sell for around $6,000. It doesnt get much cheaper then that.

Ha ha ha. Well I dont know where you got that information from but I know more then 5 people with the W210 and they all have loved them. I know a fella that has a E300TD with over 300,000 miles on it. As far as my E320. Its a solid car. Minor things such as light bulbs but let me tell you something. My W202 is the worlds biggest POS. A car with so little electronics has had more issues then my neighbors 2001 S600(Thats not a joke by anymeans) 3 years and more then $3,000.... Yea that plastic W202 must be a great car. And it only has 86,000 miles
The W202 is a perfectly respectable generation. Though I have seen examples that are losing the war against rust.
Nevertheless the first gen. C-Class carried forward many of those classic 80s Sacco cues that MB traditionalists hold near and dear and added the subtle, yet iconic charm of cat-eared tail lamps.
To drive, I found them tighter than the W124 E-Class, which everyone lauds as the Benz aficionado's die-hard, made-to-last executive sedan.
It also should be noted that any car can be a lemon.
I had mine since my dad bought it and yeah we spent some for repairs but after that we never had any major problems to consider that the car is 15 years old already. I use it everyday and I'm happy with the car I drive.
went right over his head.A BENZ IS A BENZ
waitin on that 500k badge so i can let the maid @ my winter home run errands for me in it..........lol

The 280 is a POS. They get the most complaints on this forum. Been
telling everyone for years to stay away from 'em. My
C220, on the other hand, has 183K and runs like new. Still has original
tranny, muffler, water plump, radiator, MAS, etc., etc. No leaks, no noises,
and 33mpk highway. No bells, whistles, or adult toys. Just a basic, solid, safe, dependable, car, the way I like it. As for your E320...just give it time,
and keep your wallet open.
Well, if I wanted a car that only lasts 120K I'd get a Civic...maybe even
a Yugo. Take the challenge. Keep that E320 for another 90k and
tell us if its holding up as well as my C220.
That isnt even what I said. Listen again please. I said I was looking to get a new car by then as I have done before because how long does one expect to drive the same damn car for? Cars get booring after a while. Now as far as the W210 holding up. Look around this form site and othes. Plenty of W210's with well over 300k on them. Your C220 has 183,000 on it. Ok fine. The W210 and the W202 started production near the same time. Most likley each one will have similar miles on them.

There is a nice W210 with 260k on it. She seems to look fine to me.
your 210? haha
your 210? haha
I enjoyed every opportunity I had behind the wheel of the first gen. W202 C-Class. Did it have its faults? Sure. But I'd argue that the generation was more in-tune with the marque's standards than the W203.
True. Interior of the 202 isn't like other MBs...just as the office of a CEO doesn't have the bells, whistles, and toys of a child's play pen.
