I don't know too much about the Vogtland coilovers, but all their products are made by Eibach through subcontracts. The springs are more "budget" than h&r and eibach lowering springs, but provide the same level of quality in terms of ride harshness and the like.

Spring rates are harder than those of h&r and eibach. at least for the w124
