I just got my engine parts back from the polishing guy, and all I can say is... WOW!!!
He did my vlave cover, throttle body intake manifold, top air tubing, heat shield, and BOV cover. For pictures go to:

When I get the engine back together it's going to look swweeeet!

Wow! It almost looks chrome. It looks like something someone would do for "all show and no go" but you actually have "go". How much does it cost to get something done like that? I had my engine completely steam cleaned and detailed last week. It looks brand new but your's looks amaizing. I need to get that done. I'm blabbing now.

Ahh...my eyes...hurts
Damn nice...how much??? I'm thinking about getting my valve cover repainted cuz most of the paint chipped out and it looks ugly... Again that'd be good for the show

Surprisingly, the cost was very low... $400 for everything.
I think I lucked out by getting referred to a guy who does very high-quality work for very low prices. His name is Virgil Hobbs, and he's an an older retired guy who has his shop in his garage here in Portland. Despite the low budget operation, the guy is awesome and well known in the hot-rod & street bike communities around the area. His work has appeared on showcars & bikes in several magazines.
I think if I had went to one of the higher budget operations here in town I would have paid double or more for the same result.
Man, I can't wait to get this thing back together. It's going to look awesome (the engine compartment anyway) and perform like a monster. I was running 14.3 with 9psi, so I'm pretty sure that with enhanced internals, improved flow, and 15psi of boost, I'll be in the mid 13 range.
I am still waiting on Velonia to make my pistons, and unfortunately, it will likely be another 4 weeks before I see them. I guess Manley is actually already working on my rods, and they should be here early next week.

That's not a very good design for headers. Kind of blows the point of having equal length manifold pipes.
