W202 Avantgarde Grille
Hello Peeps! I just got my 2000 C230 Kompressor last April and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get those Avantgarde Grille for a W202? I don't have any idea how much it cost and would it be too difficult to replace it since I am not much of a DIY guy (I do not want to mess it up and paying more in the end for a professional to do the job). Any help or referral is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks DRBC43AMG for the link but I was hoping to find/buy one here locally in the U.S. to save more on shipping costs. If there is a company that sells here in SoCal so much the better. Btw, what is the exchange rate from Euros to U.S. $ and vice versa? Your recommended website has Euros in prices. Again, thanks for the link.

Your recommended website lists the grille at EUR 93,00 so it is equivalent, more or less, to US$ 127.82. Not bad for the cost of the grille alone. But, how much is shipping cost to the US?

Shoot them a mail. They are a friendly and very serviceable company I know someone on this forum in the US also purchased one from them, but I didn't recall who. I'll check when I have more time

If I recall, the price indicated includes sales tax. If for goods are for export, the Company should reimburse the taxes after a week or so. At least they did for me

i bought mine off a local guy in tampa bay florida. He didn't know where it comes from so he gave it to me for 40 bucks. I think I made the best deal lol.
But I've seen them on e-bay. Be careful when you buy from there, make sure the black is glossy and not matte, because then after a year you'll have the same look of your front like you do now, faded!!!

Cut down an OEM one from a later w210. That is what Mercedes had done by a contractor to create the version it sold in Europe and the US (special order) for $400 for the w202. Buy it used locally and save a bunch. I got one super cheap and when it was finished it was much better quality than the ebay units.
