W202 led mirror blinker mod
the 202 and 210 had interchangeable outside mirrors.
i have a 99 E320 (210). it had the squarish mirror and the cover did not sport
the LED blinking feature.
I picked up Ebay/taiwan mirror covers with the LED array, had them painted to match
the car, and spliced in the wiring. took one weekend afternoon. i would rate
the degree of difficulty at 4 out of 10 (high).
total cost came to about $300
also being aftermarket howd it fit?
i wish the LED array wasn't so large, but for now, i'll live with it. not showing
on the box was the manuf's name, Versa

Wow those are exactly what I want, do you happen to remember anything like the sellers name from eBay or something like that where I could find these? Was it 55 tech?
lost all the data. so unable to help. i seemed to recall it was sent up from
Calif.
it wasn't 55tech, but I see that they have 2 on ebay right now. one
traditional design (like the one I have), as well as a unique design which
has downward aiming lighting, presumably for in/egress.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
made up of LED devices, I didn't worry about it too much. even generic LED
seem to have thousands of hours of MTBF so I just shrugged it off. the
wiring is simple and relatively easy to splice in to your turn signal wiring.
basic electrical skills are needed and use of a D/VOM.

if you decide to tackle this as DIY, i should have photos from my install. may
be able to walk you through this depending on your location (I'm on Beacon Hill)
