S600 Grille from Jkmotoring (Pics)
Got this grille 2 weks ago.
Good quality. It really updates the look compare to the stock grille.
Installation is a bit tricky but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to install it.
TIP: REMEMBER TO POSITION THE HOOD LATCH UNDER THE FIRST HORIZONTAL STRIP.
You'll have a hard time opening the hood if you place it ABOVE the first strip. Thanks to CYurocko for the advice.

looks great. also i like the color of your car. you don't see many with that color round here. i think i've said this a thousand times but i can't wait to get one.

It comes that way. I believe after 98 MB paint the mouldings the same color as the body but not with glossy finish. It's matte finish.

If I recall, the sports grill has the huge mercedes star in the middle of the grill and the elegance one is only the chrome strips. I have the one from JKmotoring and it really compliments the look of the car.

anyways, i just purchased mine through jkmotoring, but not off ebay. i sent him an email, and he emailed me back an invoice for $85 including shipping. so it's the same ebay starting/final price w/o having to wait or bid against each other.

eddieo45 - The install from JKmotoring is pretty easy. Just follow the directions.....I haven't seen a market for the old grill but you should keep it just in case you want to sell your car and put back the original grill (then you could resell your aftermarket grill).
The ebay link you posted is only the chrome strips, almost the same as buying chrome door edge strips. It's not the entire honeycomb insert that JKmotoring sells.

i just mounted the new grill and it looks great. i'm just wondering about my installation because i didn't receive any directions. it seems the grill was a little long sideways and it's not flush inside of the grill holder. are you supposed to cut it a little along the edges for a perfect fit???
