Intake

Save yourself the time that other people will give you unrelated information such as " If you want an intake go buy a Honda", or " Make your own", or " use the search function, newbie", etc...
If you want HP, get yourself a Kleemann Kit. www.kleemannusa.com
Well, here's the easy answer. K&N, ITG, and someone else makes drop in filter replacements. All have shown small gains.
The only "intakes" have been custom ones. Both that I know of were on 2002 C230 coupes.

Anyways, the point is the best thing is to get a drop in filter, its going to be just as effective, if not more than an aftermarket "intake."

bought the car 2nd hand and the plastic hosing was ripped in 5 places, but back together dodgy with silicone & the car kept over heating. Read a million threads and realised there’s no aftermarket scene either so I just made this one.
Haven’t done any dynos but it 100% runs faster & sounds way nicer. Before the car would run at above 80 on temp if driven over 30 minutes & sit at that temp, sometimes over heating.
it now runs at around 50 when driving, 70 when stopped for a while. The supercharger also takes in A lot more air now, like a serious amount. I’ve realised I can accelerate faster at much lower revs & the car reacts much quicker.
Previously the engine bay would be beaming heat once I finish driving, but since doing so the engine bay is much cooler. I’ve gone from not being able to place my hand on the engine cover at all, to being able to barley feel heat radiating, just warm like a heated car seat.
surprisingly the metal pipe is cool even after hours of driving. Due to it being between 2 plastic joiners it doesn’t vibrate at all, but resonates at a very low frequency when it goes.
hope this helps.
