Pics of Silver Expression Motorsport Kit?

I'm pretty interested in this kit now. I've seen all the ones on the site but I was wondering if anyone on these forums had it too, preferably on a silver car. And this is the Motorsport version too.

Thanks a lot.

I too think that this is one of the nicest kits around but the prices at Performance Parts are pretty steep. However, they some times have promotional prices of 10-20% off their catalog prices. So you may just want to sign up with them to be notified via email and/or request their MB catalog.

As an added note I emailed Expression to inquire about the front spoiler and the rear roof spoiler as shown in their promotional pictures.

There are two front spoilers where the "DTM" is the more aggressive and sporty of the two but I was not sure if it would fit my C240.

Anyway this is what I wrote : "I have a US version 2004, C240 with factory installed Bi-Xenon headlight package (also includes headlight washers and clear fog lights). Will the front spoiler of your Motorsport kit (DTM front spoiler) fit my car? Also, the pictures for the Motorsport Kit show a rear roof spoiler that I think looks fantastic but do not see it listed as part of your kits. Is this piece available? If not, who is the manufacturer?"

... and this is what they answered: "Thank you for your mail. Yes, this front bumper fits on your car but you have to use our fog lamps. You have to connect the wires of your stock fog lamps on Expression ones. But this roof spoiler is never available. We have the same than the CLK w209, only"

I'm assuming this last sentence to say that the roof spoiler is NOT available for the W203 but IS available for the W209.

Hope this somehow helps you in your decision...

The nicest use I've seen of that kit is on AMGRider's silver wide body C32

love the kit...

I think the body kit is defnitely one of the nicest I've seen, however the wheels look like crap IMHO. A Lorinser or Brabus wheel (or at least a replica) are the only wheels other than AMG I would put on a Benz.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I agree, AMGRider's Benz is awesome. I just don't know if the kit would look good without the widebody and other parts he added. What do you think?

Take a look at the link I provided and you'll see it without the wide body kit and with just the stock "sport" side skirts. It's BrabusCClass' ride. It's a black car, however, it is really nice in my opinion and probably the same thing I will be doing to my car (although I keep going back and forth with regards to the side skirts).

I agree something about the junction that makes it look very "stuck on"..... of course it really is "stuck on" but I've seen other kits look more original like they came from the factory. Although I do like the quad exhausts.

Hard to see the lines on the black one cause on a silver car, they'll be very visible. It's a bit hard to judge how it'll look. I like the kit a lot on AMGRiders and also on BrabusCClass' (from what i can see), but it looks less appealing in the pictures from the site. Anyone agree? Why is this so?

This kit looks too "busy". The AMG body kit is the best I've seen. Simple, clean & sophisticated

Problem for me though is that AMG is way expensive. I'm just a high school student so I don't have time to work but I wanna get a job this summer and doing something with my car. I believe AMG is many thousands of dollars.

I'm somewhat glad that I got the 2004.5 without the AMG body styling. Even though I like how the AMG body kit looks, I wouldn't want people thinking I have a C32/C55, when I don't. That's just me.

I agree that the AMG body kit looks very nice and clean, however, in my opinion that's where I'm somewhat puzzled with why BMW made their M Series distinctive, whereas Mercedes put the same kit on their AMG models as the "Sport models". The physical appearance of the "sport" models look the same. The only way to tell the difference is the badges and/or the exhaust placement.

Either way, since I am planning on putting an aftermarket body kit on my car, I'll most likely go with the Expression kit.

Same here. I didn't want the sports kit cause I knew I was gonna get a different, less expensive kit.

Thanks a lot for those pictures (the third one didn't work). I really like that GT-1 front. How much did it cost and where did you get it?
