My girlfriend crashed mine and hers 05 c230 sport sedan there trying to rape me on fixng the re suspension. I am over here in Ny taking care of business/working . So i cant fly out there for a few more days. If anyone knows or has any connections at eurotech collision in sancarlos please let me know. She was only going maybe 5-10miles a hour when she backed over the curb. ;(

hes says i need 4 left rear control arms. etc and trying to charge me 3k+ whats that like 1800 in just labor just to change control arms LMFAO . My g/f hit her moms car parking and backed up over a curb breaking somehting on the left rear suspension. Insurance will not cover the damage . long story but to cut it short its coming out of mine and her pockets...

So Any help would be great

10mph over a curb wrecked the suspension??? that really sucks man, i would take it somewhere else and get a second opinion.

I would but the car has been there 11 days b/c of fighting withthe insurnace company so im already being charged 400 ish for the car just sititng there unless i have them fix it. ;(

Does the 05 c230 have 4 contorl arms in the left rear?

Err... the control arms / suspension components are SO freaking easy to do yourself. Then you can just go get it aligned for 100 at a dealership.

Bring your car home, despute the 400 storage RAPE charge, and get under and figure out what you need. Why won't insurance cover it? Even if you pay the storage fees, you can DIY for 1/4 price. That's insane.

speaking of DIY... has anyone found a Bently (or equivilant) for our C230's yet?

Sorry to hear of your problem. I've had many problems with my vehicle but never had the dealer try to sexually assault me. I might suggest you report this to your local law enforcement agency if this continues..

That is exactly what I had fixed on my benz a week before my accident that totaled it this past November. Control arms, bushings, brake pads/rotors. They are charging you an average price in a benz repair shop. If you knew of someone else that could do it for you, it would be around $100 for parts and labor. A half hour and its fixed, there is nothing to it. I could actually do it for you if I lived near you. I did the same thing to my front suspension just after I bought it back in 2000, from driving over a curb coming out of KFC in Newark. I did not look where I was going, and it came out infront of me. haha. I dismounted two tires at the time and road side assistance, when I called, said that it would be over four hours for them to get to me.

Ok as per the shoop he says the car needs all new control arm;s, rear suspesnion knucks? rear axle bearing. rear wheel hub and rear camber kit. I am very car handy on working with cars. do you thin i oculd fix all theese items without any special tools and or a shop's lift? I am about to fly out to cali in the morning. Also i priced out all the parts for $1091$ f The bigggest expense is the rear supsension knuckle... it cost $645 what exactly is the rear suspension knuckle? . i dont believe half this sh$t the guys is telling me btw. im just trying to get ads much info before i fly out there. Does any one have repir manual online or specifcs on what hois wheel knuckle is.

personally ive never heard of a rear suspension knuckle. I have the clk which has the 5 link multi arm rear which i believe is identical in all mb cars.
