Granite grey c320 wz , here at last
the car is absolutely beautiful. SO happy with the color. Looking at it now im not sure i want to put the c55 spoiler on it. BUt its been paid for so its going on.
anyways, buying cars sucks dong. msrp was 43820. options were auto tranny, xenons, heated seats, sunroof package.
invoice was 40000 or so. i took my papers in there and they pull up the Netstar program and showed us the same thing.
then they showed me some crap which really sucks.
Supposingly Mercs charges a 600 participation charge that eveyone eats. The Fletcher Jones has their own 500 buicks they charge for whatever. then there must have been half a dozen other fees that prob added another 500. *******.
so from the 43820 he took of 1200, thats all he would move. he told me because this car was special order that they couldnt move much. whatever. told me that if we walked this car would be sold in a day at sticker. i doubt that cuz of the c350, and hell no one buys a c320 compared to the 230.
anyways so the final car price as 42630. but what kills is all those other fees, and tax. tax was 3300, then there was reg fee etc,
we got the 3 yr extra warrenty, heres what really sucked, they said as of feb 15 this year they would not / could not budge with ext warrenty cost. i was lke wtf. 3 yr cost 3700. 2 yr was 2600, 1 yr was 2000. we got the 3 because im sure we will be keeping the car. so at the end of the day, car cost 50K
i dont know what else i could have done????
ill get pics up soon, need to clean the elder S classes for the family portrait

C 230K Coupé
Yah it's definetely hard to get a deal on an ordered car. My dad and I got a steal for the c230 coupe, but it took us about a month to find the dealer who had the 1 we wanted in stock and needed to get rid of it.

I love the color of your car. If I got a metallic, I would've gone for that color.
I don't follow that participation charge. Anyway, I ordered my C230 - I know it's not the same car, but I'll give a breakdown of my deal.
MSRP was 30,260, I paid 500 over invoice, comes to 28,993. Add 499 for prep fees + battery fee + 6% tax (1,769.97) + 250 registration and tag = 31,521.42 OTD.
The dealer through in 20% tint, wheel locks, and a $100 detailing kit. I think that was pretty fair, and your area must have higher fees.

As long as you're happy, that's all that matters! I love Granite Gray. If that color was available when I bought mine I'd have gotten it for sure.

Just got back from 60 miles of driving. Very nice, but it sure doesnt have the power of the S classes, even the W126.
I got a lil carried away and hit 100mph disregarding the whole break in period.
The car feels a lil heavy but has decent zip one you put your foot down.
It does drift a lil to one side, ill need the stealership to take care of that.
How many speakers do i have with the HK system. 5 upfront right. how is the rear configured. I couldnt tell much diff in sound between "standard" and surround settings.
the color kicks *** big time, love it, ill put the spoiler on this weekend and take more pics.
the w140 was a lil dirty, kept it out of the pics,
anyways about the price, i dunno, I went to HOI before i ordered and they didnt seem any different. I was more disappointed with the no discount rules on the extended warranty. mick, where did u get yours from, what dealer. SO they didnt budge price with u either. sux, ... hopefully the cars performance will make me for get abt it
