OMG...That's hilarious. It does look like me. I've never, ever had anyone show me a pic that might be me, but that's a pretty good find, MJ.
Anyhow, wasn't me though. Had to get home early cuz of some family stuff. Tell you guys 'bout it later.

I recently had my starter go bad (I have no clue how it happened, considering it's not a common problem w/ newer models).
For those of you looking for a good non-dealer service repair place on the Westside (WLA/SFV/Culver City) areas, I took my car to G&N Motors on Santa Monica Blvd. near Westwood. I trust these guys 100%.
Very reputable and the lead technician used to work with another tech lots of us know on MBWorld.
I won't quote how much, but let's just say that I'd imagine the dealer price would've been 2X's as much. I got new front and rear brake pads, new starter and Service B done all at once and way under what I thought it would be.
On a side note, someone recently asked me when I'm gonna have another mod and I actually might be getting some soon (not sure yet though). Considering having the OEM bose completely ripped out and doing a new system (either NAV or DVD player w/ auxillary outputs). So for those of you that want to throw out your .02 cents on what I should do, I'm all ears. Don't have time to DIY, so I'll probably go to a shop (I'm open to recommendations also). Just found out from my shop that the issue I've been having with my radio is definitely the head unit, so looks like I may be going aftermarket replacement.

lets do it then. I'm thinking the 29th in the morning and we can eat lunch at this place http://www.yelp.com/biz/newcombs-ran...-bar-la-canada which is about 26miles in on the Angeles Crest and then we'll come back down after. should be plenty of picture location up there. It will be a cruise, not something like GMR where we're hauling ***.
who has everyone's email list? send out the email yo.

Out of necessity and to get rid of the hassle of having to ever deal with it again, I got a new "front plate" mod for my car. It's a "Show-N-Go" license plate frame that was originally designed for a Mustang or Corvette. I didn't have the option of using the one that connects through the tow hook because my tow hook hole didn't match where the actual tow hook hole was located. Anyhow, in order to mount this, I needed to drill through the bottom of my bumper (which is fine by me, since nobody looks at the bottom of the bumper anyway). Pics attached. On the 2nd pic, you can see it if you look hard enough, but the black bracket is slightly visible.
Next Mod = New Tires installed on Saturday.
Audio Mod = TBD (Still taking suggestions for shops in LA area that have experience with MB's and Bose system...e.g., removing to install aftermarket head unit/speakers w/ steering wheel controls).

I was debating on whether to get the one you have no vs. the tow-hook mount.
But the drilling didn't appeal to me, and my tow-hook hole matches up![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
But I still love how the front of your car looks.
4 foggies![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
EDIT: Is that plate even legal mounted down there?
I mean, in CA, don't they have that stupid law where the specify that the license plate has to be a certain distance above the ground?
