yea... this is what they said, " Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance suspension products. Please contact the dealer that you bought your coilovers from and have them do an inspection. If they are our authorized dealer, they can send in your suspension products for us to do an inspection on. The valve usually don't make any noises. It is possible that it can be some other suspension components. We are sorry for the inconvenience." so what should I do next...

when i had tein coilovers i had a problem even with the ride height for the rear at the highest setting my rear wheels/tire with still be tuck tien then made me a new set of springs i waited like 4-6 weeks for them it didnt really make a big difference after the new springs was installed.. but now i have KW v2 and LOVING IT..

I just got a new c280 4matic and I'm having some difficulty finding lowering springs ...Does anyone know if you can even lower a 4-matic....please help...where should i go....

i've had my TEIN basic for almost a year now...
never heard a knocking sound b4...
seems like there are quite a few cars with knocking problems... i hope TEIN didn't built Basics that bad...

take it to mazz and raise hell!! 
and you can of course have k1 send you the invoice and help you contact TEIN to get TEIN to do the revalving thing or fix whatever's wrong with it.

Sorry to bump the thread, but are anymore people having the "knocking" sound coming from their Tein coilovers? This is the only issue that's putting me off from buying the SS or the basics. 
And for those of you who had the knocking, did you ever end up getting it resolved?

whats up everyone i know im new here to the benz forum, but not new to the car scene in any way. with tein, their higher end products have been great over the years but all the basic, ss and the other series coilovers ive seen in my time with everyones cars i know all in some sort of way had a problem one way or another. i hope tein fixes the whole thing for you. really sad they are just shooting general copy and paste responses to the whole thing. im currently at a debat with coilovers right now. im currently on springs but am doing my stereo system real soon and i know itll sit squatting in the back =( lol
