Want a V710 for your 2005/2006 W203? MBenzNL special!

We have several sets of Motorola V710 (Mercedes-branded) handsets, complete with cradle and MBenzNL MHI kit. This is a fully integrated kit and you get the instrument cluster/radio head unit displays, and control from the steering wheel controls and radio head unit.

This kit also has the easily swapped cradles so that upgrades to future MHI-compatible phones can be done in seconds.

These phones are for use on Verizon.

The special deal: $1475 for the full system installed in the Bay Area or Orange County. If you're in a spot that we'll be stopping in the next month, we'll install it in those places as well. If you are outside of those areas and would like to try installation yourself, the kit is $1275 shipped USPS Priority Mail.

The number of these kits is limited and after this stock is sold out, I can't guarantee pricing. Priority given to those who prepay via PayPal.

Please e-mail me if you would like to reserve/order one and to verify availability; please mention that you saw this on mbworld as the pricing is a special for mbworld members.

p.s. the phone and cradle alone are $725 at the dealership.

Thank you!

I had several questions about whether this offer is good for V600s as well. In general, it shouldn't be... we get a lot more requests for the V600 so I didn't want to sell out a "hot product". But I do have ONLY TWO V600 phones on the shelf right now, so I will include these two in the offer, so first two who want a V600 can also get that kit at the same deal.

And yes, either the V600 or V710 kit *do* include the phone and cradle. That's under $1500 for the whole phone kit installed. Price the kit at a dealership sometime.

$1500 for a car phone is absolutely insane, IMO.
No offense intended to Steve. JMO.

LOL! My dad paid $1800 for a cell phone back in 1988. It had to come in its own briefcase!!! But I know alot of people who fish offshore still use those (yes they still make them) because even though they are only analog, they have more transmitting power so they have much better range.

My first cellphone, one of the original motorola 'flip phones' circa 1992, has better range and better sound quality than my latest and greatest nextel. I had to drag it out of retirement for a couple of months two years ago, and I was shocked how good the transmission power is compared the little phones of today.

The old "bagphones" (I had a great NEC) use several times more watts to broadcast than handhelds. My NEC got completely submerged under (fresh)water, TWICE! Once dried out, it still worked perfectly!

Yeah, I think the bag phones have 3 to 5 watts transmitting power!
