Dallas Area Meet Set for Sunday, June 30... Details inside...
The Dallas Meeting is set for…
Sunday, June 30, 2:00-4:00? pm,
at the "Bahama Breeze" Restaurant,
2750 Preston Rd., Frisco, TX (adjacent to Stonebrier Mall)
Stonebrier Mall is at the NW corner of Hwy 121 at Preston Rd, in Plano. The Bahama Breeze is located to the East of the Mall, in a shopping center on the NE corner of Hwy 121 at Preston. Simply turn North on Preston from Hwy 121, and look to the first strip mall on the Right. The Bahama Breeze is on the Strip Center parking lot, adjacent to and very visible from Preston Rd.
The Bahama Breeze has lots of parking… Just look for my Desert Silver C320, and park alongside. The restaurant has lots of nicely shaded veranda seating overlooking the parking area, so if weather cooperates, we can kick back, sip on a brew and admire our cars lined up in a row.
Anyone reading this posting is welcome to show up. So far, we have three C32 AMG’s, two C320’s and at least one C230 Coupe planning to attend, and those are just the one’s who have spoken up… we’re sure to see more. And, of course, we’d like to see any and all other models.
Several of us have some of the mods discussed daily on this forum (clear corner lamps, euro-spec. wide angle mirrors, etc.), so if you’re considering any of these, here’s a chance to see them close-up.
Thanks to Revstriker for helping me scout this location. We think it’s a great place to meet, so we hope to see a bunch of you on June 30th.

I know some of you have said you would be coming to this gathering. To drum up some enthusiasm, and to have a chance at keeping this thread on page one where Dallas owners will see it, I'd like to hear from you if you are intending to join us. Please post below.

Bob, sorry I can't come either 'cause I have to go to a wedding on Saturday in LA (Don't even know the people getting married, just the charming date for a friend (yes, he is just a friend and he is staying that way) who is an usher.

At least three C32 AMG owners (including myself) have confirmed they'll be there, and I've sent an email out to two others. The more the merrier...
Revstriker, glad you're bringing your camera, I'm hoping for more pictures like these! Seriously, I'm sure we'll have a blast getting to know each other and checking out each other's cars. I'm looking forward to it!

The weather report is good for Sunday... Forecast is low of 73 (good morning car wash weather) and high of 89. Chance of scattered showers after dark, long after the meet.

Looking at the weather radar (11:56am), it looks like the bulk of the scattered showers is blowing due north to the west of the Frisco meeting area. So, we may be OK.
Just got done washing mine between the rain drops. Good news is we won't fry under the sun.
I'm going to take the drive anyway. Hope to see some of you there.
