Mod for black cars...

I was bored and playing with photoshop. so i made my car black and was seeing what it would look like if the tail lamps were tinted.. but then i said.. eh.. the 3rd break light would look good tinted black on a black car.. so this is what i came up with:

Normal:

Tinted:

i dont know if this has been done before but i think it would look hot. i have a red car so it blends in any way. but black like this would be a nice little shizam!

2004 Civic Si. FWD for the Win!
Aubergine (purple) was available for at least a couple of years for the c sedan (01 and 02; maybe 03). Not for the coupe, sadly, but it's a very nice color. Current midnight blue looks to be a mix of that and navy.

Cool Here you go, guys...

I think it's odd that the older C's had the smoked backup lens stock.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

It's pretty much the color replacement tool, you make a selection using the lasso tool, then go to image, adjustment, replace color. There you can fine tune ur selection more by using the color selector tool. Now what i did notice is that you can't make a Black car colored, that just doesn't work, because what the tool simply does is adjust the hue, brightness and saturation...
The hardest part to this is making a nice clean selection. Have fun

im at work right now, so i cant make a write up im sneaky using the comp. any way... when i get home ill show you all how to do this.. its not that hard.

also if your trying this you cant do it to a black, white, gray, or sliver car. they are not accual colors on the color spectrum
