hehe, just saw it there right now. I was lookin' at the rim and engine bay shots and such thinking, "so what makes this car a Kleemann car." Then I saw the track pics and it dawned on me, hey this is Nuk's car. LOL! Came by MBWorld to say hey!

Hey man-

Let me know what you think of the listing. I've never sold anything on the bay so I just took a total swag at it.

Be my first bid LOL

Your listing looks pretty comprehensive to me! If I was in the market for a sport coupe, I would surely buy yours. It's all sorted and ready to go! I am considering an E30 M3 or some sort of early E36, like Steve's, as my track *****.

Interesting website. My first car was an E30, love those little cars. Track days can get really expensive, really fast, if you are not careful. We like to take 3 cars and invariably we break at least one of them, sometimes 2. Last time, the rear and center exhaust hangers on the BMW broke and I had to mutilate a coat hanger into a misfit exhaust hanger. It actually worked really well! I was pretty proud of my pit-b itching skills on that little diy job.

I like the idea of $10k for a nicely prepared car.

Dont you think showing track pics will scare away potential buyers?

That always is going to depend on the buyer.

Scare people, I hope so. I want someone who will appreciate the car to buy it. People pay 40K+ for e36 track cars. They've only been used on track. It's a well sorted, well planned car as far as tune and performance goes. None of the electronics have been mucked with, no serious issues, and no neglect. Hopefully the right person will find it. I pray that no punk kid gets his father to buy it for him.

As far as a stock coupe. Who's wants a stock coupe? The mod bug bites and either you have the money and time and connections or not. If not, plan for a long road to travel. You could take this car to VIR tomorrow and be fast as hell. Or, you could buy a stock coupe. Or stock e36, only to get beat up on by the guy who bought my car.

The KWs were tested before fitment on a shock dyno, the alignment was done to the millimeter by a pro ALMS shop. The motor leak down and compression testing and head rebuild was done by yet another pro shop.

I would put this car up against any 20K stock coupe as far as general wear and tear, condition and performance. This car had one of the highest stock whp numbers I've seen. 169.9 rwhp stock...

In all honesty, I'd feel sorry for the person who bought your stock coupe. I've been more than liberal with trans and diff fluid, always used Mobile 1 always changed way ahead of schedule. It was broken in right, and maintained by a paranoid enthusiast. Means every nut and bolt has been checked and double checked, then checked again. When was the last time you torqued your suspension?

When was the last time you saw a serious of pictures where a less powerful "teenage princesses" car clearly passed a shamed a S2000 on track? Or seen a pic of a c-coupe passing a BMW M-Coupe and setting his eyes on a red porsche???

EDIT: Someone's interested, I've got two bids on the first day... Reserve not met yet though
Tom

Personally, I'd take your car. I would be a demon behind the wheels of that thing!

I could have two coupes, a showcar and a track car. I'd love that!

BTW next coupe you buy, Tom, look for a citron green? HEHEHEHE

standing from eBay buyer's view, it's not a good idea to put pictures of the car on the track in the listing or even mention the car has been on the track. When comes to a used car, people do not want to hear or know if your car has been modified unless you are selling the car on this board as most of us on this board do mod our cars anyways.

personally speaking I think the write up etc in your listing is great. Good luck selling the car.

Someone else mentioned that. I thought it'd be a good filter, I prefer someone who will use the car for what I built it purchases the car. That kind of person won't mind the photos. Truth is though I need to sell it either way. Thanks Kenzmbz.

It's a good point, maybe I should pull them... thanks Frank.

EDIT- Seems I can't pull them
