C55 AMG Brakes!
Hey guys,
Im thinking about changing my stock brakes to Brembos 4 pot 355mm brakes after summer!.
And I guess I will need to sell my C55 stock brakes.
Do any of you have any idea how much it can be sold for?

Do they come both with front and rear brembo's? Is it the 6 piston or 4 piston. I might be interested......

They should be able to. But i believe the 230K SS already has brembo's with the cross drilled rotors. Just one thing you might want to check is the offset of the front rims. Might not clear the calipers.

are you sure regular MBs get brembos even when they are 4 pot...coz the slk350 has 4 pot and I have 4 pot ...but im pretty sure my amg brakes brake faster!
anyhow....
They should be up for sale (my brakes) when i order the brembos!
Im gonna get rid of both front rotors and calipers

if you are upgrading to Brembo GT kit be aware of the kit have thicker caliper than the C32/55 caliper. if you are only upgrading to the Brembo Sport kit there's no point because they are the same as the C32/55 brakes.

Hmm, i was looking to get the brembo GT kit and i checked the specs of the brembos and it will fit just fine behind my front. The rears are another story, it wont fit at all on my damn 4 series.

I put the C32 brakes on my later production C230k daily driver after I totaly fried the stock brakes in the canyons. The car does actually stop far better than the stock kit. I would guess they are worth 400 bucks or so. But for track use they still are not enough. but then again a C230k is not that fast so i bet it would be fine. I just remember the C32 had SERIOUS brake fade when I had one.
For a car with 189 hp they are MORE than enough for serious use.
