actually it's not blue tint. it's the actual color of the glass that they use.

i wanted my windows on my coupe to look like that, but had no luck in finding tint that would look the same.

Wink

I guess i should have been more specific.
The tint is actually glass colouring not an external tint.
Anyway... the C 32 guys knew what i was refering to...

i know the blue-tinted windows are not really tinted. it's made that way with the color.

because of MB refer the those windows as blue-tinted windows that's why i call them blue-tinted windows

Vince:

good luck on finding the tint that you want
if you want the blue tint like the ones on the C32 you might have to go straight to the MB dealer and ask them about it. cuz i don't think there will be any tint that are close to the oem windows

again good luck man. hope you can find it.

To Tint or Not to Tint

To Tint or Not to Tint: That is the question.
I already have the bluish tint from the sports package.
should i tint it anyways?(although i won't be able to tint a lot to the NY State Law; dunno the limit.)

Don't tint. I saw a silver one here in Toronto with black tint, not the gratest. And besides you wanna be seen in a nice ride.

No matter what car i will ever have i have to have it tinted i will never have a car with out it for a cupple reasons
1. it looks alot better
2. makes the car look more expensive
3. hate when people see me in the car.
4. helps block out heat.
5. i hate the way it looks inside the car when its so bright and sunny i like it when its darker and dim.

Whats wrong with being seen? As far as making the car more expensive I think the car should speak for itself. I dont think that a $300 tint is gonna make a Benz look more expensive. Thats why you got that nice 3 point star on your hood. As far as the heat part you guys have a point. It does make life much more bareable during the summer days. The bottom line is it's up to you and what you like. I know there was a post on earlier when someone had some free time on their hands and went through all sorts of colors for tints. Try to find it in the earlier posts.
And just do what ever makes you happy.

I would never put that stick on tint on a car because:

1. It looks alot worse.
2. It cheapens the look of the car (you are 5X more likely to see tinted window on a beatermobile - they almost ALL have tinted windows b/c its "a ghetto thang.")(other than in areas where you really, really need it, like Phoenix or Miami).
3. I don't care about people seeing me in the car (I am not Michael Jackson).
4. The brighter and sunnier in the car, the better.

I also don't like it because its just film, that tends to get scratched up and look cheesy after a while. Its also almost impossible to get off the rear window without great difficulty and damaging the heater lines.

Of course, all just opinions. To each his own.

I agree 100% with SoCal240/6 !!!

in addition, I don't think BLACK tint helps out too much with the HEAT because of the radiant heat given off...feel how hot the inside of the windws are AFTER you tint.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Makes you feel alot better, don't it?

Seriously, if you know the rules, and go over them, you don't expect an officer to pull you over to share his jelly donut, do you?
