Chrome door shells?

Would appreciate it for everyones opinion once again on these chrome door shells are they cheesy? Because my gf keeps scratching the inside of the door handle with her rings. I dont know if im a fan yet but kind of want to get them to prevent any further damage give me some input please. MB here in sd sells them for 80.00$ but ebay has them for 30.00 wondering if they are the same quality?

Just open the door for her from now on. You'll look like a gentleman (and buy some points) and she won't scratch your **** anymore.

forget about the door-shells.

'05 COMAND and Bi-Xenons
best place to get it done is MBenzNL. Also known as Steve, he comes from the Netherlands once every 2-3 months or so, and installs all these things for us all.

Send him an e-mail and schedule an appointment. You have to drive up to Orange County though, but his prices includes installation and a limited warranty.
Eveyrone on this board, will let you know that he is the BEST and MOST recommended Mercedes-Benz OEM mod source.

Depends on the color of the car... Mine is black and I have them, I think it looks really good, in fact I dont really like the side view of a black C sedan without them... Have no opinions on any other color car!

well you can get some carbon fiber film, from stickercity.com, guys name is ANDY and hes down at cali, get some and cut it to ur door shells, then when u dont like it, rip it off! and when u want it again, stick it on again! this way u can have a carbon fiber look, and besides, its so cheep!!!

so yeah, talkin abt Steve's shop? how much are the xenon/bi-xenons for the coupes? sends it to NYC?

not sure if he's got Bi-Xenons for the COUPE any more. Those are a hot commodity, but only way to know for sure, is to e-mail him directly ang get availability and price quote.
And Steve will ship anywhere in the USA, for not too much.

you need to man up & get your priorities in order i.e. my gf clicks her feet clear of any dirt etc prior to getting in the car. if you decide to go with the covers, those will scratch also. you should tell your gf to lose the rings or there is no chance that she'll ever get one from you...

excites your girlfriend
tie a little rope to the door handle and when she wants to open the door she can pull the rope instead of scratching the door

Stongard makes cutouts in that shape expressly for our cars. Easy to apply, and you can't tell you're there, until your GF scratches them enough. At that point, wet 'em down, and put on a new pair.

Cheap, too - I'd recommend them over the other options.

hi, i purchase one at ebay and quality is pretty good. It did really protect the door from scratches.it's worth buying it. also it gives a nicer look.
