Dyno Mode - All you want to know
What happened?

For 2003+ models, I just found out how to get this working every single time without fail (since I had problems with my battery recently):
1) put key in ignition
2) turn key to position 1
3) toggle menu to overall mileage screen
4) turn key to off position
5) turn key back to position 1
6) press odometer reset button 3 times quickly
7) screen automatically shows battery voltage
8) toggle through pages using steering wheel control until it gets to dynomometer page
9) use +/- buttons to choose ON
10) Turn ignition on and car will be in dyno mode at that point. You will know for sure when the display toggles through ESP/ABS/BAS screens.
*If menu is already set to display overall mileage screen, you can skip steps 4 and 5.
**Overall mileage does NOT have to be set to zero for this to work.
To turn it off dyno mode, you have to go back to the menu screen and de-select ON.

Out Of Control!!
I'm not sure which thread you are talking about, but there are still numerous threads that have instructions on how to use the dyno mode. Do a search for "enable dyno mode".

This is a puzzling issue. I did a search and could not find this thread.
I did not un-stick it, nor did Revstriker (I presume by his post). I wonder if someone posted to it during the forum downtime last week, and it got lost in the shuffle when a couple day's worth of files were lost.

I ran a search yesterday on getting my car into dyno mode so
that I can check where my oil levels are. I tried, and tried and
tried but couldn't get the car into dyno mode...I searched a little
more today and it seems that 03's and above can't go into dyno
mode.. is this correct?

Dyno mode weirdness
I get into dyno mode ok but for Oil Levl. I get -.-
For engine: I get ------------------------------.
If I start the engine while in Dyno mode, I get
Oil Levl 4.4 qts and it slowly goes fown to 3.8qts
the Engine: shows M271 and some other numbers.
Why can't I see the oil level when the engine is off?
Is 4.4 qts too low?
Thanks
CZ

Dyno Mode Help
I have searched the forum for the dyno mode and tried it several times. I put key in IGn, pos 1, hold reset down for several minutes and no luck. I have tired pos 2 even. Door closed and door open also. What gives?

From you description I say you are using the wrong code to access the dyno mode. You are using the MY02 instead of the MY03. In your case you have to press the reset button 3 times in quick succession instead of holding it down while waiting.
