Does the Harmon-Kardon system still have the bug in the 2006 models?

Does the Harmon-Kardon system still have the bug in the 2006 models?
Dealer just offered me $29k for a 2006 C230 with sunroof package, power/memory seats and the Hamon-Kardon entertainment package. But after reading about all the problems people experienced with the HK system in the 2005 models, I'm afraid of being disappointed. Has anyone with a 2006 model experienced any problems?

my HK messed up 3 times in 11k miles but I knew how to fix it, so I didn't have to bring it in to the dealer. I found that if I would reduce the volume to nothing, turn the audio system off, and turn it back on, and turn up the volume, the distortion noise would go away. and when it goes away, it would go away for a long time.

Have set 3 people up in C230k's this year
three were auto, 6 disc, sunroof cars and they were between 27k and 29k
2k back of cost is a normal deal for a C230 and lower is not that rare. I paid 2.2k back of cost for my C230k
my car last year was 36k retail and I paid 31.5k for it.
