How many miles or kms have you clocked your W203 ?
Now my climate control is broken but it is not a show stopper and I am working on the flap motors!

I currently do all the maintenance using MB brake fluid, antifreeze, and EBC brake parts. I am thinking of doing a partial tranny fluid change soon.
When I got it, I did the following:
1. Changed the oil to AMS 5w-30
2. Front brake job, Changed rotors to power slot slotted and Hawk pads.
3. Air filter element replacement (OEM)
I've lined up the following (preventive maintenance)
For Next month:
1. Transmission fluid and filter replacement
2. Spark plug.
Once done with all the preventive maintenence, will upgade the exterior to the c55 look (except the quad muffl), headlights, bumpers, rims, and eisemann race exhaust..
Thats it.

I did some calculation for the M272 and by what they are saying (0.8l to 1000km is fine-0.85qt to 621miles is fine) this means after the 13,000 service interval I will put in 17 qts (12,500 miles I will exactly put 17 qts and this is ok for Mercedes?)

Alan how much oil does it consume? How many qts did you add at how many miles?
Runs well overall.
interior parts breaking due to teenager driving the car. Anyone have experience replacing/repairing the driver's side power seat door mounted control? It has fallen inside the door panel and is barely accessible. If so, please PM me with tips. Does anyone know where to get interior parts other than from the stealership? Need to replace a cracked speaker grill and trim and the clips to hold a seatback in place. I will probably have to purchase the stepper lever arms as the heating/cooling does not function as designed.
Karo, as for oil consumption, I am adding more oil after highway drives...1 quart per 2k -4k miles, depending on type of driving and who is doing it. No obvious signs of leak, no smoke either.

No issues with vehicle, still 1 year left under service warranty. Runs perfectly with springs and 19''s. No mods to engine/exhaust/interior. Only issue has been with these god d*mn wheels, but finally fixed.... i think....

My father complained in 1964 that his 1956 Rover 90 started to use oil when his teanager son started to drive it.

My car has been very reliable and most repairs were for normal wear and tear items. Repairs included new sway bar links, new control arm & thrust arm bushings, new fuel pump and new tie rods.
Currently, my drive belt tensioner is starting to whine and I plan on replacing it soon with help from a mechanic friend of mine. The dealership just quoted me $610 today to replace the drive belt tensioner (book says 4.4 hours of labor). I can order the part for $89 from RMEuro and probably pay my friend with a couple of 12 packs.
Also, I plan on changing out the struts and shocks soon. Still riding on the factory ones, but you can tell they are really starting to get worn out. I found Bilstein Touring struts for about $101 each and Bilstein Touring shocks for $86 each.
My car still runs great and the engine is pretty smooth. My car has been well maintained, and I think it will easily go past 200,000 miles. At both 60,000 miles and 120,000 miles, I did perform a major tuneup, consisting of an auto tranny flush, spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid flush, power steering flush, and coolant flush. I change the oil myself with a Mityvac every 6,000 miles with Castrol Syntec 5W-40 or Mobil 1 0W-40. My car used to burn a quart of Mobil 1 every 3,500 miles, so I switched to the Syntec 5W-40 and now I only burn .5 qt every 6,000 miles. (the 5W-40 Syntec is only MB 229.3, but since mine is an 04, I can use either 229.3 or 229.5)

That is such BS.
