Passenger door sensor went dead
Drivers seat creaks
Cd player (now)
Centre console creaks
a whole bunch of minor stuff fixed by resetting it, till now no reoccuring problems
....other then that
Do speeding tickets count??? lol
Still luv the car though

 

29,000 miles
Fuel door lock actuator died, replaced
A/C Regulator issues, car's A/C would stop 20 minutes after starting then run just fine after that, fixed
Condensation in both mirror turn signals, replaced.
Horns are having fits, need to be replaced on next service.
Airbag recall.
No left or right pull.
No tranny leaks.
Averaging about 27mpg for the life of the car, very happy about that.

Car runs great, fewer problems with it than any other car I've owned and I really don't consider the problems above (a/c excepted) to be bad.

 

2004.5 C230K SS
Central Locking system problems. Control module replaced. Just got back from a jaunt to Raleigh, NC. 33.8mpg @ 65mph ave.

 

2003 C320 coupe sports package 13500 I know its low dont have much time to enjoy my ride soon to be selling it as well insurnace is just not worth it for me

 

try sliding the sun shade out and pushing all the way back in.

I thought the vanity mirror light on my car had gone bad too, and the service advisor showed me this trick. It fixed the problem right away.

 

05' C230k SS, 17k miles, no problems. had airbag recall taken care of at last service, can't really call that a problem though.

1.) Passenger side weather molding replaced from being loose @ 7k- FIXED
2.) Convenience Features faulty @ 8k- FIXED
3.) Needed Alignment @ 7k- FIXED
4.) CD Changer had gremlins in it @ 2k- FIXED
5.) Outside Temp Gauge faulty at 11k-NEEDS TO BE FIXED

Sold '01 C320 Sedan with 48K 2weeks ago and got '07 530i.

 

2003 C230Sedan, 67K miles

Problems were all minor:
- rattle in dash - resolved
- parking brake adjustment - resolved
- CD player skipping - resolved
- SRS Warning - resolved
- sunroof losing 'one-touch' operation - resolved

Very happy with the car and the reliability. Only the SWS warning required a special trip, all other items were resolved at the next normal service.

no major problems so far.

Seatbelt height adjustment device rattling - first week
Light switch not lighting up - first month
Rattle in rear shelf/speaker - ongoing (went in 2 times)
Glove box light works occasionally - ongoing (went in 3 times)
Tranny Leak - 5K miles
Headlight flickering - 5K miles
Stereo firmware upgrade - 12K miles
Condensation in mirror turn signal - 24K miles
Airbag recall - 24K miles
Center console/compartment peeling - current and haven't taken it in yet.
Jerky tranny - current and haven't taken it in.
CD changer - I hear it changing discs even when the car is off. Haven't taken it in yet.

I love the car.. I always get commented on it. But I just hate the issues eventhough most are minor.

 

2003.....maybe 8,000 miles

the IR sensor in the passenger door went out and the motors in the driver sideview mirror went out. No problems otherwise

 

What switch, the headlight switch?
My headlight switch doesn't light up. Is it supposed to?

 

Approx 60,000 miles, no trouble since factory warranty expired, hopefully got all the bugs worked out in time, now hopefully it will just be wear and tear stuff from here on out!

Fuel Filter
Tranny leak/Oil Seal
Front control arms
Serpentine belt
broken Windshield Washer Reservoir Filler Cap
broken Fuel Filler Cap rubber string
broken Window Glass Clip
CD changer misaligned
drifting to the right (camber bolts)
Engine oil leak in rear crankshaft

all these for 15,000miles/26,000kms since new.........but my car is running well now that ived replaced almost every part.

 

doh! that sounds nasty for 15k miles :x how many miles on it total?

'05 C240 Wagon. 11,500 miles. 24MPG Avg. Bought it CPO with all the service records.

Sunroof problem before I bought it - fixed under warranty.
Alignment problem - pulled to the right - fixed under warranty.

Currently has a vibration coming from the rear of the car. Balance, rotation, and a new set of tires (all under warranty) but problem not fixed. It's currently at the dealer but I can't really complain - they've got me in a E320 CDI loaner - 28MPG avg and a sh*tload of torque. I suppose it could be worse.

BTW, for all those with alignment problems, make the dealer work on it until you are satisfied. A good alignment tech can get it right.

 

total is 15,000 miles, i got it brandnew in 2001

 

The icons on the switch should light up. Mine didn't... it was faulty from the factory.

 

My 03 C230's headlamp switch panels lights up completeing (including surrounding icons). I noticed only the bar/dash on the slector knob light up on the 05 C230's. Not sure if it's changable or not.

no problems , but it shows message about air bag , then my wife puts her *** in the passanger seat ?

Ive got the same problem w/ my passenger seat... I talked to a tech and he ran the fancy mb obdii scanner on it and said my weight sensor pad was malfunctioning and needed replacement... Hope it doesnt cost more than like 100 bux... :\

 

my 2001 c240 88,000 miles bought it with starmark warranty at 8000 miles and no problems at all incredible
and my c55 2005 4000 miles i hit the wall in my garage and the srs light is on lol
