Mercedes-Benz doesn't print a dedicated service manual for one model of car. They have manuals for different systems of all the cars. For example there is a manual for central locking, and it includes methods for diagnosing and repairing central locking for every model.
Most technicians don't use the printed manuals anyways. All the info we need is on our WIS (Werkstatteninformationssystem). These are computers at the dealer where we type in the model of car, and whatever it is we want to know. The info pops up, and we print it out. It's much easier than flipping through pages and pages of greasy shop manuals.

on page 64 of the current issue of Mercedes Enthusiast, there is an advertisement for MB literature:

Intro to Service Manual for New C-Class 25 pounds
engine manuals, 45+ pounds (but the C-class engine is not listed)
chassis and body workshop manuals 60+ pounds, etc

hotmail account? not sure how reputable this company is... but if they have it, you can probably find it somewhere else

Young, the "Intro to Service" manuals are pretty useless. They have some basic information for the changes that were made in that particular model. However most of the info references the CD Manual. There are people on Ebay all the time selling the intro to service manuals.

CD Manual?

Is the CD manual available anywhere on the web? I've got DSL, so I don't mind a big file. I'm 2-3 months from getting my car and would love to start reading about it now. Thanks.

I was told mercedes won't even sell the CD Manual to the public until at least 4 years after a vehicles introduction.
