Quote: Can stardiagnose, make both left and right rear fog lights come on? or is this a left side or right side only set up?
Every German made I car I have ever owned (Ford, Porsche, VW, MB, Audi) has had a single super bright red lamp in the rear, called a rear fog light. They have all had a green illuminated indication in the switch or on the dash that it was lighted.

Funny that you say Ford is German with all the history of Henry.
Just because you owned them doesn't mean its true. Why don't you check here and there in regards to modern Audis, some at least, having dual rear fogs. Oh, and lets not forget the other Fords, called Jaguar. I distinctly remember seeing one just the other day over here that also had the dual rear fogs.

BTW
My watercannon is ready for you. But you have as yet to commit to a sailing date down the Mosel..

I have never seen a single pic of these taillights with the LED's on, much less LED on one side and stock on the other for comparison

I can do that once i got mine. The difference between LEDs and halogens is more apparent when they're turning on or off.
Halogens somewhat "gradually" turn on and off when they blink.. LEDs dont, they just go on and off instantly..
Like volume control on your audio.. halogens work like you turn ur volume control from 0 to 10 .. there's a time when it's gradually getting brighter and brighter. LEDs work like pushing "mute" button on ur audio.. just instantly on and off. That's one of the things that I like about LEDs. That's why Im thinking to convert my rear turn signal into LEDs too..

I know LED's come on /go off faster. That (and the fact they use less power and last longer than incandescent bulbs) is why people use them for brake lights ... faster reaction time. I'm curious about these LED's brightness (on and off angle) vs. incandescent.

Execpt that none of these LED lights are replacing any kind of halogen lights.

They are named after the Toyota Alteeza (japan), which is the Lexus IS300 in the US. that why they are called Alteeza style taillights.

well LED brake lights wont work in a coupe because the bulbs face up in the coupe. they are very dim.
