who else has fears of getting keyed/?
when i got my mercedes back in jun 05, for like the first 2 weeks or so i was scared to leave it alone in the parking lot! if i wanted to take it somewhere, it would prolli at a place where i am in the car most of the time, or where i can see it cleary lol.. ex. getting something to eat !! lolll
i still worry about it now ..but not as much as i used to when i first bought the car.
neone else had this fear ?

This seems to be a common fear with most Corvette owners. Personally, I'm more afraid of it with my Corvette than my Benz because most people view MB's are more daily driver car's and they don't stand out that much. Corvette's stand out more because most people buy them for fun/weekend cars and a lot of owners DO like to stand out, so they're more succeptable to it.
Just drive it an enjoy it. If it happens, use your insurance and get it painted your favorite color.

i did, esp because i drive my car to high school... i talked to my dad about it, he said dont worry, because its all covered... so i guess i am not worried, as much... but still get pissed when those retards act like they are going to take the mercedes thing off the hood...

There is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent your car from getting keyed. There just exists a buncha ******* kids who think it's "cool" to go around keying cars. It hurt me the most though cause it was the first key mark and i JUST gave it a wax the other day. You guys ever seen the Pulp Fiction scene where John Travolta talks about his car getting keyed. "Oh i wish i could've got the ******* in the act..."

I'm scared of getting my car keyed. I also drive my C to school. It's just such a b*tch to deal with insurance when I really wouldn't have to if some as shole hadn't messed up my car. I definately have not put nearly as much work into my ride as some of you but I take pride in it and love it. So it would definately **** me off.

If you electrify the skin of your car no one will steal your hood ornament and they will key your car only once! <s>
Or put pizeolectric sensors all over your car so if anyone door dings it, keys it or even looks funny at it a web camera starts, flashbulbs go off and a recorded message "the cops have been called, you have been busted" starts playing.
You just have to be prepared for the alarm going off all the time when it rains heavy or hails.
