i'm pretty sure that they are different parts. i don't think any of the exterior pieces are shared between the coupe and the sedan. it may be close, but i don't think it will be a clean fit (if it fits at all)

2002 C230K Coupe
A little off topic
but yesterday I couldn't stand the clear lens, and decided to just buy a can of black opal and clear coat paint, ripped off the amber lenses (not literally) and painted them black.
Turned out absolutely amazing! Matched the car color (black) and it looks very clean. I did about 1 coat, put it back on the car only to find that the amber still shines through a bit.
I don't care for that lens whatsoever, so I will coat it another 3-4 times (the can of paint cost me 7 bucks CDN) to make sure the amber doesn't seep through. I originally just took out the light bulbs but when I started my car I remembered the onboard computer, telling me that theres 2 faults. hehe
Painting over and over should help, and it's deifnately cheaper than evosports 80USD transparent painted lens (the lighting seeps through as well when on).
I want a completely covered look.
I hope to get pics up by later today.
If all goes bad.... well it's only a plastic amber lens. How expensive can that be? even for Benz... haha

I would still like to find the clear lenses and use those bulbs that mack430 said. They are silver when not illuminated but amber when illuninated. That would be awesome.

Hehe, I'm happy I won't need any of those :p. But I think they might look great on your cars. I think the stock amber ones disturbs the lines of the front of the car.

Installation instructions/amber bulbs?
Does anyone have instructions for installing these lenses? What about the bulb size--has anyone done amber bulbs with clear lenses? Thanks in advance.

Installation...
I looked on page 350 of the owner's manual. All I managed to do was cut my fingers. It says "slide toward the rear" but I couldn't get it to budge. Also, it doesn't really say the bulb type. All it says is 5w--unless I'm missing something. I'd order these--but like others I'm not sure if they'll fit the coupe.

Also, I'd like to know if they come with the amber bulb, or what their part number is for the amber bulb if you have to order them separately. Thanks for running the traps for the rest of us!!!!
