hey guys, was wonderin for those who have the vis cf hood for your w203, how's the fitment?! i'm contemplating rite now if i should get one for my c32, but just scared if i get stiffed with one that doesn't fit rite...whats your take on this?

It fits perfectly and I have one for sale that has been used for only 2 weeks on my car!

i say cf hoods are played out and they look better on jdm vehicles.

Ive seen alot of CF hoods on benz and I think there freaken nice. Not to mention alot of europroject cars have them.

i sort of like them cuz the paint don't chip......cuz there is no paint on them...HAHAH except the hard coat on top of the CF. BUT my old man would kill me if I get one...

hahaha Frank! I agree, my old man too would kill me, but I also agree with white_203, the CF hoods only look good on JDMs

CF hood does not have the same protection as your metal hood.

hey no bashin or flame startin here, but since your tryin to sell your hood, to me kinda feels biased...but at the same time, i do value your opinions, thanx! any other members with the vissy hood?! can jerry or honson shed some light on this?!

lots of cars today are made of CF especially supercars. Also the Corvette are still made of fiberglass as well as the Viper's made of fiberglass body panel. Are they unsafe? doubt it. It makes little difference. In event of an accident the CF hood would bent and crack out of the way and the metal hood folds, but wat's really absorbing the impact is the frame itself.
