You are definitely the king of options....and what it takes to install them. Is the 'increased battery capacity' more than 100ah? I can't figure out why 100ah is needed and if I'll replace it with 100ah or a gel/spiral wound 70ah. I don't know enough about it to understand any problems it may cause in the charging or electrical/electronic systems. I don't think it will, but don't know for sure. All the ah give you is battery life and nothing in the car measures or looks for that, that I'm aware of. I could see how your 229 would use power at rest though.

The C320 of that MY is a flex fuel vehicle. It can run E85, premium or a mixture of both. There are several threads/posts on E85 on this forum if you want to know more.

Great car! But how did you get the new DVD-Comand going in your prefacelift W203? I thougt it was not possible to change the CD based into the new DVD-based. Would be interesting to know how you managed this. But technically i am not versed.

You pretty much have to strip down the entire interior and then pretend you are a low paid migrant worker in Germany making cars. Its an "all-in" thing to do this.

it is possible if you are ready to spend th extra moola. There are lots of modules that needs to be changed out. Search the forum and I posted some pics earlier.
