You can go to the kleeman.de website and see if they have a distributor in P.R. or you can get it mail order from this websites owners, Evosport.com. From what I understand, you'll need to take your car to an MB dealer and have them change the fuel calibration settings to Stage 2 or 3. It's probably better that they install it and do it all at once unless you have a local Kleemann dealer.

If you have a 6-spd and want to do it yourself you can use my instructions that I posted before with plenty of pictures. No power tools necessary and you can do it in an hour (more if it's hot and you need beer to cool you down). Leave out the altenator pulley unless you have access to an air gun and lift. Note that if a Kleemann dealer does not do the install your warranty is severely limited. You may consider ASP and they encourage DIY installations. If you have an automatic consider the Kleemann ring, it doesn't require a flywheel lock or air tools.

E-mail me if you have installation questions or need me to e-mail you a copy of my instructions.

ASPRacing.com is their website and asp@aspracing.com is their e-mail address and my contact there is Lee. If you try to order from their website or toll free number they won't know about it because it's a special order item. It's $350 and you'll have to buy a 56" 6 rib belt available at most auto supply stores (ie. Pep Boys) for under $20.

You do not need a lift or air gun to remove the ALT pulley- you dont even have to take out the ALT.

OK, how do you keep the alternator from spinning while you take the bolt off?

Very clever, the things you can do with vise grips. Thank you for sharing this secret. I think Linh likes the air gun.

Now figure out how to get the crank pulley off the automatic without an air gun and without buying a $300 flywheel lock from MB.

There are several ways to do that job- all of them long and protracted.

Typically a "stretch" bolt has a smooth body section of a thinner width than the threaded portion of the fastener. The idea being that you torque the fastener to the point of stretching the bolt and apply a "limited" amount of torque (over torque the bolt and it just stretches more but the force applied to the two parts remains the same.

Usually a strecth bolt is to be used only once and any workshop guide will say not to re-use the fastener. Not only does the fastener not look a thing like a typical stretch bolt the WIS says nothing about not using it again. Tightening tq is stated as 300nm (about 200 lbs/ft).

That's a good thing because probably like you, my bolt has been on and off a few times.

Sure, check with Ben Hunter at MB of Laguna Niguel. Don't know what they'll charge but it can't be much, probably one hour labor for the ASP pulley. He can also set your correct fuel settings.

They differ by $530. They are both the same diameter, same material and will produce the same boost. The Kleemann kit comes with belt, badges, and alt pulley. The ASP has additional weight of 1.4 lbs. towards the back of the pulley to address the issue of harmonics.
