Projector lights: buying the bowl only?
I want to get clear lenses and HID's for the lowest price possible, and someone told me that i can just buy the bowl (lens + projectors?) itself for $150, without having to pay $400 for a new set of clear headlights. I could then drop an $250 on an HID kit, for a total cost of only $400. Could someone please explain to me exactly how this would work? What exactly is a 'bowl,' where do i get it, how do i install it, etc? Thanks!
P.S. I was also thinking of buying some clear foglights on eBay for $100 (or can i just get the lens too?) and getting a second HID kit for them. Would that work?

i have a set of BiX with busted broken mounting brackets. but the projectors, D2S bulbs, and ballasts are fine and work. if you want to buy them from me, both the driver and passenger let me know. ill take pics of the lights turned on to prove they work. you can then do what you like with the projectors, bulbs and ballast.
$400, that will be the lense, the bowl, the HID lights and ballast.

wtf...
Is the difference between this thread you started and this other thread:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/124393-where-can-i-buy-projector-clear-lens-only.html
Did you absolutely need to start a whole new thread mentioning the same exact thing?

BUMP your thread before starting another one. You duplicated the same exact thread you started 3 days ago

Guess upgrading to BI-X for cheap isn't an option, Doug. Lol

I think that this lazy canuck/troll needs to put the bowl on his head and get a haircut. His long hair seems to interfere with his hearing and by virtue of the hair hanging over his eyes with his visual/reading capabilities as well. Looks like this calls for an optorectomy. Typical pointie haired Dilbert character IMHO; champagne taste on a beer budget.
