If you are talking about 10% mix then the answer is yes. But remember that it has slightly less Octane. Now if you are talking about E85 then it has to be built that way from the factory. STFF for E85 for more answers and pitfalls.

No, not any more. Until '05 model year, the Flexfuel was the biggest advantage of C-class. Despite it is hardly known and used, having the capability of buring ethanol is a big plus. Who knows what will happen to a gasoline supply in ten years into the future? But, the extra flexibility is no longer available from '06 MB gasoline engines.
You can start using ethanol now by locating a fueling station for E85 at the following address.

And follow the instruction in the owner's manual when you switch between fuels. There are certain steps to take.

Yes, you can switch, and as amdeustch mentioned, you can even mix them.
E85 is basically 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline by volumn.
Even though ECU will monitor combustion and change timing accordingly, I assume it would be certainly better to stick to either gasoline or E85 long term.

Another Website for E85 Fueling Location
I found that the web address I posted above listed a station only for the Southern California region. Here is another web address to locate E85 fueling stations nationwide.

2016 C300 4Matic Lux w/ P1, P2, Lighting Package
There's even more info at the E85 (National Ethanol Vehicle Coalition (United States)) Web site: www.e85fuel.com
My 2005 C is a flexible fuel vehicle. So when the gas prices were skyrocketing recently, I investigated and learned there is an E85 station just a couple miles from my home. Unfortunately, at that particular moment in time E85 cost more per gallon than premium gas
.
Since E85 does not appear to provide a monetary savings, I suppose it would come in handy during a gas shortage.

I wonder what I said previously in regards to pricing, performance, etc, posted on here STFF, and how that compares to Motorweek testing of the MB and the info out on the web.
