First Snow: Pics of my C

Well, first snow of the year as I drove home three hours for Thanksgiving. My 230K SS held up great!

I have Michellin Alpin snow tires and the car performed beautifully. Here are some shots after I got home.

This is my first post, so hopefully I upload the pics correctly.

Should be working now. ^ Notice the ice on the hood even after 3+ hours of driving.

I'm from South Park, PA. I was beginning to think I was the only one from PGH with a MB that reads this forum. What dealer did you get your car from, Rahal or Sisson?

Larry - Long story, but I actually got my car at Ray Catena when I lived in north Jersey for an internship. I do get my car serviced at Rahal.

Advans - no worry about the snow - was not too bad in Pittsburgh when I was leaving. The brunt of it was going up Rt. 60 North on my way back to Ohio. Roads are clear now.

Thats the bad thing when u own a black car.. Mine eventhough its silver but already looks dirty as hell.. :v

PS: any suggestion how to drift on icy road? I only can do 300 degrees top, before it stucked(my esp already off though) :p

Tony - I am in Shadyside and I have yet to see a C55 or C32. I've seen a few C230K SS and a couple of 240's, but this is mostly BMW/M3 country.

hey did you check out your engine tempature when your car is full of ice??
because my normal driving in Califronia is around 80-90C

I did not check it - but i think everything was fine engine temp wise. It was the worse snow storm I have ever driven in. People were doing 25mph on roads designated for 65mph (and usually drive 80mph). It was a white out in most areas. If you look, even my headlights and mirrors are covered in snow/ice.

The ice is likely caused from the melting snow and the cold temp outside. I hope there is not more to it.
