Is there anyone in the Miami area that knows of a reputable shop to install springs on my c230ss at a reasonable price. I have been to two shops so far and they want 350.00- 400.00 for install only. Any ideas? Thanx in advance.

I have the same experience as well. The just see the Benz and they add extra $150

Im going to go all up and down bird tomorrow. South Florida Perf. told me 250. thats not too bad.

eunosracr, that seems like a lot of money just for the install and even $250 like you've mentioned below is still a little steep. I live in miami shores and I too have been looking to start a good relationship with a reputable mod shop for not only the installation of performance parts but also to gain insight and advice on tuning. I'm looking to get a Kleemann performance kit installed and I've come across C2 Design in Tampa through Kleemann's dealer search: http://www.c2dusa.com/. Chris Chapas is the one to talk to and my contact over there. They were just going to charge me $250.00 for the install of the Kleemann kit which is a much more complicated procedure than installing springs. I know it's somewhat of a drive to Tampa but they are very reputable and put out a great product. Check them out.

I'm now researching the Digi-Tec kit. I hope that C2D carries this kit. It's a bit more promising than the Kleemann kit for sure. I had mine lowered in North Miami Beach at a place called royal motors, ask for robbie. I provided H&R springs and they lowered my car for $200.00 flat. Everyone else quoted me by the book prices. $400 and up

I am still waiting on the springs. Right now i am shopping around so i can get them installed as soon as they arrive. i will let you guys know once I slap them on.

I had the car lowered approx 6 weeks ago, ride quality is great,
I even had my compliments on the ride saying the car rides nicely with 18's. That's when i informed them the car is actually on 19's
