To Black or Not Black Out, That is the Question.

Alright guys, I wanted to get blacked wheels at first, but I couldn't find any black True 3-Piece wheels that were in my price range, so I got my SSR's. Now, I've seen quite a few people who have painted their SSR's black. I did a quick and ugly p-shop of them black and I'm leaning towards just keeping them the same color. What do you guys think? Any opinions? Could they be damaged in the process?

Anyone want to photoshop me a better pic? Here are my before and crappy after p-shop's...

Thanks!

I'm with him... don't black them out... it's just a trend anyways...

And plus, with the money you save... get some coilovers/springs!

The color on the SSR's is already pretty unique and looks great with the black body color. Also the twin spokes blacked out don't stand out as much, so please keeep them the way they are!

I agree...

In my school, this guy black coated his FX's rims, uggh, they dont even look black!, it doesnt have that "shine" that the rims give off, keep ur SSRs the way it is! it gives the car some contrast! and just wait till u find some rims that ARE in ur pricerange

white and whiter
SSR GT3 satin would look best, but like other said the silver as is looks good, wait until you ran these for a while before making changes.

Yeah, I like the satin finish on my SSR. I wouldn't paint the silver finish on yours. I think I know that place in the picture...EF1 Motorsports in Signal Hill? I recognize those cars parked there... :p

No Black wheels.

No Black. The car is much more in tune with the wheels the way they are now.

my 2 cents.........
