1991 mr2 turbo, 2002 coupe
C7 coupe owners rejoice!
I was just checking out mbusa to see if they updated the Cs for 2003 (they haven't) but I found some interesting things.
1. A C240 hits 40K rather quickly!
2. In building a C32 most everything is standard, BUT (and I'll bet many of you know this, but I didn't) was that our C7 wheels alone (NO TIRES or any of our other package extras) are $1328!! Is there something I'm missing, are these in exchange for the stock wheels and tires or in addition to? Honestly who in the right mind would pay over 2K to option off already sweet looking wheels for these? I guess style has a price, but it seems like us coupe owners are the only one's to truly escape the MB rape, although I think the C32 (while still well out of my range) is the next best value in the lineup. Now if they'd just wake up and drop a manny in that thing.

Those who did not order the C7 wheel package are all probably kicking themselves. I was fortunate to have a salesman who told me I would be stupid to order my c-coupe with out it... THANK YOU MIKE!!!

The C7 package is a steal, but remember these are summer tires for us with snow. Some people here don't want to purchase winter wheels for another $500-$1000. I will be soon. No steelies for me!!!
These tires also only last 10k - 20k miles. Next year I will probably be purchasing the 17" Michelin all seasons looking for extended tread life vs. higher performance.
