They aren't required in Britain, Europe and most places other than North America, so they aren't installed by the factory for those markets.

Congratulations Latent on your new MB. The color is the BEST!!! That's my car exactly minus the right-hand drive and the front markers.
Had my car washed at the dealer yesterday and my salesman told me that Paprika is becoming very popular in the Washington DC area.

No, in the US there are silly ground-to-bumper clearance regulations. As a result, US-spec cars are hung very high, which, I think, is generally combined with de-tuned, floaty suspension.

I wanted Paprika too, but it costs $1000 extra to get it with Oyster interior. If I was going to pay $1000 for a color combo., then I would have gone with Citron/Oyster.
