DVD Comand, iPod integration kit & Parrot Blurtooh car kit on a 05 W203.

Last week i drove from Paris to Steve's workshop in Netherlands. My son and I were so excited to meet the famous Steve. A few hours later i could drive back home with a DVD based Comand, a 40 Gig iPod fully integrated and a Parrot bluetooh hands free kit connected to my Motorola RAZR V3.
It was a real pleasure to see how Steve made my several months dream a reality. No visible wire, no scratch and all works very well.
From my point of view, no MB dealer in the world and no other could do this job with a such care.
Many thanks to you Steve for your professionalism, and your kindliness.
Many thanks to you Wanda for arranging the meeting and your e-mails.

Oooh! I want this! I just bought a bluetooth phone (Motorola E815 with Verizon) and am eager to get some sort of phone/car kit. Do I need the handsfree kit in addition to that bluetooth module? Most likely...
We'll see.... meanwhile - picking up my repaired car tomorrow morning in the AM! I'll have picts on here shortly thereafter.

An awesome job, indeed. Making money out of your hobby... but it does cost him several nights of sleep every time he is 'on the road' (or 'in the air', if you wish).

Armand, it's like Steve said: the pleasure was all ours. Too bad I wasn't able to meet you, but then I would have to bring my three kids as well (holidays)... and usually that isn't such a good idea. They start acting weird when they see their grandfather and uncle... But it definitely is good to know that you enjoy your mods and love being navigated.

greetingz,

BigSis

Oh yeah, awsome. You can try it for yourself. Put a folding chair 9 inches from your garage door. Now sit there for 13 hours with half a can of Coke and a tiny bag of peanuts. Boy, isn't it fun to travel around the world.

It is a nice drive from Paris to Amsterdam, and getting your car upgraded by a real pro is really wort te trip.

Your car looks great. I like the digital display on the air con. Did Steve do that too?

Steve is able to do this upgrade and more . But in my case, it's a factory option.

There are more cities and villages than 'just' Amsterdam. And I for one am GLAD that I don't live in our capital city!
