Well, its probably because of the camera, rear lights, and snow because they look exactly like outer's pic below...i'm not sure how he took such a good pic...im satisfied, especially because I don't care too much to go all out with LEDs and having to use resistors and what not..

Do these bulbs burn hot? Really don't want my new lenses melting...again.

I don't believe that they do, but ask LuxuryC240, he's had them in for a day or two now.

I haven't checked....I will check them when I pull in from work tomorrow night...I don't think so...I've done lots of driving the past few days, especially at night, so if my lenses are already melted, I'll let you know, lol

wow, haven't been on here in a while, surprised to see another thread like this...there's a lot of even older threads than this one dealing with the same thing. anyhow, i got mine from these guys:
http://www.visionbulbs.com/
just get the 'Xenon Interior' kit, i think i was their first guinea pig with it and hopefully they're sending out all the correct size bulbs now. but anyway, these lights look great and carry a lifetime warranty (btw, none of mine have burned out).

Wow, that's absolutely amazing. You just select your vehicle and it matches the correct bulbs? I'd buy it instantly if anyone can confirm that these do work now and will fit and not burn lenses.Originally Posted by inFiniTE LooP

I checked the bulbs for hotness...I checked the license bulbs when they were on after driving home from work...they were slightly hot to the touch, but certainly not hot enough to melt the license plate lenses...otherwise mine would be melted as I did lots of night driving the last few days..Originally Posted by LuxuryC240

I have no idea, my guess is VERY strategically placed LEDs....or a whole row of them.

That is what im thinkin. A ton of little **** leds pointing onto the plates, or maybe even that blacklight reflective paint - Its a stretch, but we all know how far people go to be unique.
