I already asked my friend in Japan. He got this bulb from Car modify shop. And they have no website.
I would like to ask you about this stuff.

Just to be clear, ALL LED's come with a "resistor". LED's require a small resistor to limit current so they don't blow out. This resistor does not prevent the flickering or bulb-out errors.

jlevi's are the ones I have on the 203 actually that is, after Eric put in his resistors and magic touch.
they worked fine on the M3 as well...
I'm using single LED plate bulbs for the E60 and I'm really pleased by it. but, I'm in that GB on e60.net for the oem BMW LED retrofit...

17 pages...this is ridiculous haha can't this thread just be deleted and a new one maybe a sticky be made with a list of bulbs or methods that actually do work instead of people complaining what doesn't work...wondering what might work and asking how it works. I am sure there are a couple valid solutions considering there are a good handful of people with working license plate bulbs.

My friends in Japan send me the new license plate bulb. It s very cool stuff. Forget about "BREX". It s better than that. In "BREX" use 2 super LED but in this bulb use 16 super LED. It s awesome and it s just 50 US. No need resistor and no error
And for the interior light bulb. My friends will send it to me soon. It s specific only w203.
I will attached the pic on tomorrow. I will show you how 16 super led work.

Does that even phyiscally fit in there?
And they're $50USD EACH!?
Yikes. I think I speak on behalf of most members on this one.. we want white LED plate bulbs, but we dont' want them '$50' badly.

C24Owner has already done this. I did mine 2 weeks ago with zero problems. But you will need aftermarket taillights to achieve this being that the OEM is a circuit board and not wired.

Here's the home rolled version. Good luck guys. Total cost should be under $30.
