DIY: Audio 10 Install Pics / W203 ('01-'04) Center Console Removal Instructions

No air cond. air flow to center console
After I removed the factory radio, and replaced it with an aftermarket unit, the a/c control don't change the airflow. All I get is hot, cold or fan air out of the top (windshield) slots, and the bottom (floor). No air coming out of the center and side vents.
The air flow knob just seems to be disconnected.
I removed that trim panel several times to make sure that all the cables are connected. Two harnesses on top, and a large at the bottom (which I did not remove). The two on top which I disconnected and connected again only fit in their two female counterparts (there are two additional open connectors on their side for which I did not find any cable to attach.)
My car: 2004 C class with manual a/c (no automatic climate control).
The scanner gives the following fault codes:
M2/5
M2/8
M2/10
M2/19
M2/6
M2/7
How do you reset a manual climate control? (2004 C Class)

What do you mean by manual? I thought they were all electronic.

Very good instructions, thanks. Helped me a lot on my UK year 2000 C180 Classic (no silver dash) . I have the Audio 10 HU that lights up but no sound . Ben trying to get the 6 CD changer out from glovebox but no joy. Can see what appear to be 2 push clips by shining torch up from inside glovebox but no success. No Torx 20 screw on mine as many forum members have mentioned.
