DIY: Audio 10 Install Pics / W203 ('01-'04) Center Console Removal Instructions
I was wondering if anyone had any pictures associated with the following posts:
Audio 10 install:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=13302
OR
IMS Install Part 1 (and rest):
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....&postcount=362
I want to remove the center console since I just purchased an upgraded heater / AC control for my coupe (Thanks Carlos for the info) - however after STFF for removal info, I found the above threads easily enough.
Neither have the images anymore
Can anyone re-load them? Obviously it would be helpful to me 'immediatly', but over time I'm sure I wouldnt be the only forum member wishing the images still existed.
Thanks,
C230Brit
EDIT: Also searched the internet 'archives', but still couldnt get hold of the images - see here

simply go to your URL address bar, and replace "forums" with "www" and hit REFRESH. Most likely, you will get the LOG-ON page again, so go ahead and log back on to MBWorld.
You can stay on the "www" side, or go back to the "forums" side, and hit refresh again. As long as you have cookies enabled, you will be able to see pictures that were uploaded via "https://mbworld.org" or "https://mbworld.org"
if any threads have pictures that were linked to PhotoBucket, ImageShack, or any other online photo hosting services, and are now no longer visible, then it's up to the person who posted the pictures to fix those links or repost them again in a new post.

the IMS install photos will not show you how to remove the center console, as it was not necessary to remove that part for IMS install.
Try searching some of the threads with COMAND install or center vent removal.

it tells you how to see the pictures that the Original Poster uploaded.
Thanks Sir

This pic was more or less what I was after:

Was curious about the clips at the top and bottom - I just wanted an idea of what they looked like before attempting to remove the facia - don't want to snap anything!
Thanks again!
it seems, some where along the line, the "photos" text in the URL changed to "images" and that's what caused all the pictures to go dead.
I have to edit each post individually, so it will take some time, but in the end, all of SESSION's 2002 photos should work.

I can't stop people from using their personal photo hosting services.
The biggest problem I have when posting / uploading photos to MBWorld is that if the are uploaded on the http://www.mbworld.org/ website, those that log on to http://forums.mbworld.org/ website, cannot see the photos.
I've asked repeatedly in the past why this happens, but with no answer.
I believe that Admins only see both sides as one site (www and forums) so they see the pictures no matter what site they are logged on. But for me and many many others who have complained, that is NOT the case. Someday hopefully, they'll figure it out and link the two, so that all picture files uploaded to MBWorld will show up no matter if you log on to the "www" side or the "forums" side.
The URL lines on "fourspace.com" had changed so that's what made them all dead links. I figured out what the changes were, so I manually went in and edited all of them one at a time.
So for now, until "fourspace" goes dead, the pictures are back, and people can see how to remove the W203 (2001-2004) center console.

Where are the pictures!
Have they gone? Are they hosted on a site I need to be logged into?
It seems like a very well written set of instructions but I'd love to see those pics.
HELP!
